I am an Integrative Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Health Coach, offering a holistic approach to mental health that blends psychotherapy with responsible medication management. My practice is rooted in a humanistic, insight-oriented, and trauma-informed framework, focusing on treating the whole person. I integrate multiple factors—such as diet, lifestyle, belief systems, sociocultural contexts, and neurochemistry—to provide comprehensive care.
My areas of expertise include women’s mental health, postpartum depression, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, dementia, alcohol use disorder, and integrative approaches to mental health. I also incorporate the Sinclair Method via telehealth to help clients reduce alcohol cravings and treat alcohol use disorder.

Professional Background:
With over 30 years of experience in healthcare, my journey began with an Undergraduate Nursing Degree from East Carolina University. I have worked in diverse healthcare settings, including Emergency Medicine, Trauma ICU, Neonatal ICU, and Burn Units. After 17 years in the pharmaceutical industry, I returned to Stony Brook University, where I earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Psychiatry.
I am board certified in both medication management and supportive psychotherapy, with extensive experience working with adults, children, and military personnel—including active duty military and veterans. My goal is to provide compassionate, personalized care that supports each client’s journey toward mental well-being and emotional balance.

Insurance:
I do not accept insurance for appointments, but most plans offer Out-of-Network benefits, for example a health savings acoount. Typically, you can use your insurance to pay for the medication at your pharmacy.
Cancellation Policy:
You must cancel at least 24 hrs prior to your appointment for a refund. This allows us to schedule others in need of care. Fees are collected upon scheduling your appointment.

$300 Psychiatric Evaluation, 50 minutes
$150 Medication Appointment, 25 minutes
